Shoeing horses and the 2nd screen
We need some really close mic recordings of horses hooves in shoes on the road pulling a waggon. This is one of Dan's "must haves". So the farrier is booked. I don't usually start getting ponies shod to get them fit until spring so we're a month or two early. No1 waggon horse Hades Hill Fairmile is getting on a bit and slightly lame sometimes so we've brought down Hades Hill Lucky Pearl to pull the waggon and her mother Hades Hill Pat II as the "sideliner" who trots alongside in a makeshift collar made from a pair of old jeans. Lucky does the steering and Pt will help out on the hills.
Storm Doris meant we had to postpone the recording of wagons and horses day but we did get to put together the second frame for which we have hired scaffolding. The Eden Arts screen is on wheels so we will be able to play around with size of the space we want between the 2 screens.
